Awesome article, I learned some new things and heard reiterations of things I’ve learned while developing PWAs over the past few months. Something I would love to hear your take on is the monetization of PWAs (specifically via advertising).

This is something I’ve struggled with. AdMob which is designed for “Apps” is native only so it doesn’t work for PWAs.

AdSense seems to be designed with contentful websites in mind. I’ve had my PWAs rejected numerous times with recommendations to create “quality content” which doesn’t make much sense in the context.

It’s frustrating to me that Google is pushing PWAs so hard but they don’t seem to have a monetization solution that works for them.
